Orbital welding: precision and consistency

In orbital welding, the welding head moves mechanically around a circular joint held in position. In an orbital TIG system, the power source, controller and head work together to control every stage of the cycle.

The consistency of the process helps make welds repeatable. It does not, however, replace proper tube preparation, appropriate programme settings or inspection of completed joints.

Questions before you start.

Do I need to choose the welding head myself?

Not when renting a kit with a crew. Supply drawings and dimensions so the head, accessories and operators can be planned together. For a purchase, product pages help compare models before the configuration is confirmed.

How can I have my requirements assessed?

Send drawings or dimensions, materials, location and proposed dates. Tell us whether you need equipment to buy, professionals or an intervention combining equipment and crew.
